These terms explain what happens after checkout, what LUXGRID needs from you and how review and delivery work.
Last updated: 25 August 2026The agreement for paid work consists of the final quotation, the scope selected at checkout, these service terms and the refund policy. The quotation identifies the deliverables, calculation areas, selected technical extras, revision allowance, timing tier, price and contracting or billing identity. Work outside that scope requires written confirmation and may change price or delivery time.
A direct appointment uses a specialist-published offer instead of a LUXGRID-generated quotation. The specialist defines the stated capability, availability, hourly rate, minimum block, fixed package, included scope, eligibility requirements, delivery time and revision allowance. LUXGRID provides identity controls, payment processing, the private workspace and operational oversight, but does not turn an inaccurate customer eligibility confirmation into unlimited fixed-price work.
For a fixed package, you must confirm that the project meets every displayed “price applies when” requirement. A material mismatch may pause work for a reviewed scope change. An hourly order prepays only the selected starting block; additional time requires your approval through the workspace. In both cases, work starts only after confirmed payment.
You are responsible for providing accurate dimensions, drawings, mounting conditions, target values, intended use, applicable requirements and usable IES or LDT data. Tell us promptly if information changes. LUXGRID may pause the delivery clock or issue a scope adjustment where missing or contradictory information prevents reliable work.
An assigned specialist prepares the project-specific model and outputs. Before final delivery, the work is checked against the agreed inputs, calculation surfaces, selected scenarios, key results and report scope. Quality review checks internal consistency; it does not replace a site survey, electrical design or local authority approval.
Delivery windows begin when payment is confirmed and the minimum usable inputs are available. Standard and urgent windows are estimates based on the selected scope. Customer delays, revised drawings, missing photometric data, force majeure or an approved scope change can extend the date. We will communicate material delays through the order workspace.
The included revision count is shown in the quotation. A revision covers reasonable adjustments within the agreed project inputs and deliverables; new areas, new product families, changed geometry, changed targets or new calculation scenarios may require an additional quote. Use the customer workspace to request review before accepting the final package.
After full payment, you may use the delivered report, layout and agreed project files for the named project and may share them with its project team. LUXGRID retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, templates, tools and general know-how. You confirm that you are authorised to provide any drawings, product files or other material you upload.
A lighting calculation supports project decisions within the agreed scope. It does not verify as-built conditions, structural suitability, electrical circuits, energy-code compliance, product certification, procurement availability or every local authority requirement unless a specific item is expressly included. The responsible project professionals must verify those matters before installation.
Report a concern through the customer workspace before acceptance where possible. LUXGRID may correct, reperform, partially refund or fully refund work according to the refund policy and the facts of the order.
To the extent permitted by law, total responsibility arising from a paid order is limited to the amount paid for that order, except where liability cannot legally be limited. Neither party is responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the order was accepted.
Both parties will act in good faith and first try to resolve a dispute through the supervised workspace or contact@lux-grid.com. Mandatory consumer rights in your location are not excluded. The quotation or invoice identifies the contracting party and any order-specific governing terms.
